Did some tweaking of Hawkman's updated design, primarily with his mask/helmet design and wing positioning.

Carter Hall in this Elseworld Universe is the modern day descendant of Khufu Ka-Amon , a prince from the line of Nubian nobles who once ruled over Egypt who was also one of the avatar warriors known as the Warriors of Light in service to the cause of the group of powerful benevolent mages calling themselves the Lords of Order.

Khufu was known as the Hawk Warrior due to possessing an enchanted Nth metal infused armor that could generate giant mystically enhanced wings that gave Khufu the ability of flight, which along with his fighting and tactical skills made him a formidable agent for the Lords of Order in their battle against evil.

Khufu and the rest of the Warriors of Light were betrayed and slain by a mid level wizard named Hath Seth who passed himself off as an ally to the cause of the Lords of Order but was actually a servant to rival malevolent sect of wizards known as the Masters of Chaos. Due to Hath Set using an Nth metal blade to kill Khufu while he was wearing his enchanted Nth infused armor, Khufu's “warrior essence” was mystically imprinted into the armor.

Centuries later in the present archaeologist/historian Carter Hall was approached by the “resurrected” essence of the former leader of the Lords of Order, Naa-Buu the Wise, now in the guise of the mystic hero known as Doctor Fate to take up the mantle of Khufu as the new Hawk Warrior in order to aid Fate in his continuing battles against various mystic threats to humanity. Fate had gained possession of the Armor of Khufu decades earlier after he himself had effectively been revived into the present after his essence took possession of the dying form of a young Kent Nelson.

Hall being a blood descendant of Khufu was the only individual who could safely don the armor since Khufu's "warrior essence " was imprinted into the armor. Besides it's flight bestowing capabilities Khufu's enchanted Nth metal armor protects it's wearer from most forms of both mystical and conventional forms of physical attacks. Only other weapons composed of Nth metal or extraterrestrial weapons seem to have an effect on the armor. With Khufu's “warrior essence” imprinted into the armor, it also mystically bestows Hall with all of Khufu's fighting skills and tactical knowledge. The war mace, khopesh blades and other weapons that are a part of Hawkman's arsenal are also forged of Nth metal.

Since accepting the armor and mantle of Khufu, Carter Hall as gone on to battle various superhuman threats both mystical and non-mystical in nature under the guise of Hawkman, the guardian protector of the city of St. Roch, a city that has a long history of being a hub of the supernatural and various other dark activities.
