Description
Did some tweaking of Loki's design for my Alternate Marvel Universe.

In this alternate Marvel Universe Loki is the son of Odin and Alflyse, Queen of the Dark Elves and nephew to the powerful and malevolent dark sorcerer/former ruler of the Dark Elves, Malekith the Accursed.

Odin sired Loki with Alflyse in order to forge a peace accord with the Dark Elves after years of war between the Asgardian Eternals and Dark Elves beginning when Odin and his Eternal followers first came to the dimension of Yggdrasil and established Asgard at it's heart giving them control over the dimension, control that the Dark Elves held prior to the coming of the Asgardians to the Yggdrasil Dimension. Odin defeated & seemingly destroyed Malekith in personal combat ending the war between the Asgardians & Dark Elves thus leading to Alflyse's ascending to the Dark Elf throne.

Because Odin only made Alflyse a consort rather than taking her as his queen & allowing her to hold any official power & control over Yggdrasil, she does all she can to ensure that Loki embraces as much of his malevolent Dark Elf heritage which plays a part in Loki always causing mischief & chaos whenever possible during his time spent in Asgard while growing up. It also plays a part in Loki's hatred towards his half brothers, Thor and Balder as he believes that he will never be able to ascend to the throne of Asgard because of his Dark Elf blood. This leads to Loki's desire for conquest & destruction as an adult. Having two parents as powerful magic users makes Loki a sorcerer of high level in his own right. For centuries Loki secretly causes trouble for Asgard & plotted with its various enemies in attempting it downfall, but now arrogantly believing that his own cunning & deceitful strategies help to make his mystical abilities a match to challenge Odin's might, he now openly attempts to destroy Asgard and it allies and to take control of the Yggdrasil Dimension and other realms for himself.

Thanks to manipulations that he has instigated on Midgard/the Earth Realm involving an archaeological team headed up by noted Norse historian & researcher Donald Blake, Loki finally discovers the secret hiding place of the Asgardian doomsday weapon called the Destroyer which was created by & hidden on Earth centuries ago by Odin and is able to mystically create a duplicate of the control rune stone in Odin's possession to activate the powerful armored golem in his first open attempt at destroying Asgard.

Loki's plans however are foiled due to the intervention of Thor who battles the Destroyer on Earth during it's rampage under Loki's direction before trying to bring it to Asgard and Thor succeeding in gaining possession of Loki's control rune & destroying it thus rendering the Destroyer back to it's inactive state. Loki's defeat at the hands of Thor increases the hate he has for his half brother leading to his current ongoing attempts to destroy his brother as he now sees him as Asgard's most powerful defense against his attempts to destroy it and take over the Earth and other realms.
