Did some tweaking of all three versions of Carol Danvers' Ms. Marvel costumes for my alternate Marvel Universe.

Carol Danvers in this alternate Marvel Universe becomes an active hero in her teens after having been exposed years earlier as a pre-teen child to energies from the alien Kree device known as the Psyche Magnitron which altered her DNA and gave her abilities similar to those that Kree warrior & then newly appointed Universal Protector Captain Mar-Vell/Captain Marvel had recently gained.

A short time after Mar-Vell is given the title and position of the Hala Sun, a now disgraced Yon-Rogg returned to Earth for a final confrontation with Mar-Vell, hoping to kill Mar-Vell and restore his honor somehow in the process. To this end he kidnapped Mar-Vell’s confidante as Walter Lawson, Air Force Major John Danvers and his young daughter Carol, in order to lure Mar-Vell into a trap where upon he planned to use the Psyche Magnitron to allow him to overcome Mar-Vell’s newly heightened abilities. His plan fails due to his overloading the Psyche Magnitron resulting in his unexpected death and young Carol Danvers' DNA being altered as the energies from the exploding Psyche Magnitron seemingly transferred some of Mar-Vell's enhanced alien DNA to young Danvers as Mar-Vell shielded her from the exploding Kree device with his body.

Carol gained Marvel’s physically heightened abilities as well as physically developing a lower level version of the energy generation & fight abilities that the Nega-Bands gave to Ma-Vell. Danvers spent the next few years after she discovered she had extra ordinary abilities learning to master them with aid from her father & occasional assistance from Mar-Vell himself after he became aware of her abilities.

Once she felt she had sufficient mastery of her abilities she devised a costume for herself and decided to use her powers to fight against injustice under the identity of Ms. Marvel due to her powers indirectly coming from him as well as being inspired by the heroic deeds he performed. As Ms. Marvel she would go on to encounter various foes with the would be tech powered conqueror known as the Controller & the Kree operatives Dr. Minn-Erva & Captain Att-Laz being her most recurring & persistent foes in her teen years as a hero.

It was due to the actions of Minn-Erva & Att-Laz in pursuing the covert Kree agenda to turn her into a Kree living weapon (since Mar-Vell himself was viewed as off limits due to his status as both the Kree Hala Sun & the Universal Protector since his first successful encounter against Thanos) that Ms. Marvel’s abilities were enhanced further now allowing her the full degree of Nega-Band duplicated powers as well as learning that her rate of aging would slow down when she reached full adult maturity as well as universal resistance to all terrestrial & extraterrestrial forms of diseases.

Now as an adult Carol Danvers works as a civilian intelligence analyst & advisor for the military with her skills often being called upon by S.H.I.E.L.D. as an unofficial special operative. It was during one of these advisory assignments with S.H.I.E.L.D. that she would first encounter the shape changing mutant assassin/terrorist known as Mystique, who would become her arch nemesis over the next several years ending when Mystique becomes a part of Magneto's current incarnation of the Brotherhood of Mutants.

Ms. Marvel is currently an active member of the Avengers as well as a mentor to Mar-Vell’s two super powered offspring Genis & Phyla as well as young military officer Monica Rambeau in her Earth/Kree hybrid armor identity of the Earth Sentry.

Carol is also dealing with the recent discovery of a genetically engineered son named Dan-Vell created by Kree scientists as their long sought after Kree Living Weapon using the enhanced DNA of herself obtained years ago by Minn-Erva and that of the late Mar-Vell.
