In this Elseworld Universe this “Bang Baby” is Ava Velez the former gang affiliated and criminally inclined cousin of Marta Velez. Velez gained metahuman strength abilities almost similar to her cousin in the “Big Bang” but with her skin now possessing a glossed stone like appearance and texture that is resistant to conventional forms of physical injury and attacks. Unlike her cousin Onyx retained her normal physique and is unable to transform back into her normal human appearance.

Prior to her “Big Bang” transformation Ava Velez was one of the most high profile female gang members in Dakota as well as a high ranking member within the Force Syndicate Crips. Since her transformation she now plays a key role in serving as one of Holocaust's criminal lieutenants in his bid to become the metahuman crime boss of Dakota. Always in conflict with her cousin Marta since their teenage years due to her gang and criminal ties, it continues on with their transformations into Onyx and Brickhouse.
