Through the creaking,of wooden floors,
the silence, screamed the truth.
Not realizing the feel,
in every careful step,
every ticking of the clock,
for once I’ve learned,
the quiet in misophonia,
Is aware in me.
Perceiving what once was,
today loudness cripples,
slowly deepening through…
It was never about me,
nor the less my demons to fight,
And yet by it, absorbed.
