Long before the continent this game takes place on, Xaoc, became the chaotic mess it once was, there was a four member army of humans. A rogue known by Spiritus was one of them. Falling head over heels for one of his comrades, he didn't have time to admit his love.

A powerful, enhanced explosion destroyed his body and left his head into stasis. Decades later, Spiritus' head was found and was attached to a mech... Powered by his late, to-be boyfriend's sword enchanted with his crush's soul.

All he wants to do is fight for another day. And so, he drowns himself in Bled Booze (a brand of gin known for feeling like an open wound in the stomach) and quickly became depressed and dry, hoping he and his "Toxie" would be left to rest.
