lets start with PLASMA, their magical ability. *ahem*

SO!

Shillo can create a magical Gas which can easily be ignited into Plasma. Only issue is that they have trouble actually lighting it so that's where the magic-handicap comes in. They have gloves that they can use to rub their hands together and easily create the friction required to spark and ignite the gas and create plasma. From there Shillo can add magic to make it bigger or smaller.

Shillo used to be a simple slime monster that Dr.Lionel realized could create the special gas. He didn't think much of it seeing that he was more focused on trying to re-animate and create humans so he experimented with the poor blob that loved him, put the empty skeleton husk and the blob in a chamber and shocked the friggn life outta them till Shillo was forced fused into the skeleton, the soul connecting to the skeleton.

They had obvious issues getting used to controlling the thing and well- the entire experiment was a near fail because around the near end the skull cracked along with a few other bones. the bones healed except for the skull. Shillo had some trust issues with Lionel afterward.

The experiment basically stretched the poor blob out to practically nothing. As time went over though the blob actually grew which created the "ecto-body" Shillo now has. The crack in the skull and growth actually caused Shillo to grow hair as well.

The only way Shillo could obtain the ecto body and hair they have now is by not using their magical matter, the more magic they use the clearer and less dense their ecto-body gets. (Hair wound up being a forever thing) Shillo has a magical disability due to not using their magic often or having a use for it so their magic doesn't work most of the time. My hero academia logic here - the less you use it the less it works, the more you use it the more powerful it is. Shillo doesn't use their magic almost ever so when they do use it, it gives out or dies off fast, its also extremely tiring.

(Mostly caused by Lab tests going slightly wrong, parental abuse, partner's abuse, Poppeteer's abuse, and other events.)
