Description Detailed Multatripodesdae species family reference file

Note: This is a species reference i consider in a beta stage so i will still be editing this project until i deem it fit for finalization.

Part 1-Race basics-

Culture and history: The multatripodes species family are race of beastly cow-like creatures that can be found across the regions of chile, arabia, middle east, china, japan, and vietnam. Their culture and architecture are based on the aesthetics of beaches, forests, streams, mountains, swamps, caves, fire, hell, and the ocean.

These creatures like to use stone, red gems like rubies, mud, sea plants, and wood in their buildings and structures. They like modeling their buildings after mountains and caves, typically building underground or low to the ground with a middle eastern style. Their clothing and other items are also inspired by the colors and appearance of their preferred habitats, often styled in a simplistic and warrior-like fashion.

The many-horned bovines are quite fierce and intimidating creatures that do not take shit from anyone who preys on them, but they are just as capable of compassion; if the stranger regards them with respect. Their race's overall warrior spirit and general strength make them ideal battle trainers and tough soldiers and guards. This and a few other abilities make multatripodes ideal allies when facing tough enemies and/or environments.

Deities: Like all sapient beings from the Whimsy version of Earth, the multatripodes know of Infinity, and the various deities that are either associated or enemies with her. They have many different temples they often worship, host weddings, or sacred events. Each different temple type has its own high priest or priestess in charge, and they are connected together as a council that decides on changes to the buildings, rituals, uniforms, and other related policies in the collective clergy.

Part 2-Physical anatomy and dietary needs-

Head and eyes: The head of a long-snout cow has a pair of large-ish spined horns and ears, as well as large eyes with oval pupils. They also have a thick and sharp-ish horn protruding from their foreheads.

Neck and torso: The neck of a multatripodes is long with a mane on the back that extends to its withers. The torso is large and fuzzy with a forked tuft of fur on the chest. It becomes slightly more bulbous at the end near the hips.

Limbs, hands and feet: The limbs of many-horned bovines are long-ish and hooved, with much sharper dew claw hooves on the back of their feet. Their hands are evolved from front hooves, and have hoof and hand functionality like the rest of the sapient creatures from their home planet.

Tail and extra appendages: Beach beasts have long-ish tails with tufts of hair on their tips, and hair trailing from the tip to the base on the back of the tail.

Known mutations: Beach beasts can have quite a few mutations. This can include longer limbs, longer fingers, longer tail, longer and sharper hooves, fuller manes, longer necks, larger torsos, larger size, larger horns, multiple horns, forked middle horn, and more fur tufts.

Diet: Multatripodes are herbivorous omnivores, as their diet mainly consists of vegetation and fruit, but they can also eat fungi, meat, and other edible foods.

Part 3-Natural abilities, sounds and locomotion-

Assorted abilities: Many-horned bovines have abilities that allow them to be as resilient as they are. The abilities they have are their strength, agility, ability to hold their breath for 8 hours, can squirt water and poison, generate electricity, fast running and swimming speed, resistance to hot temperatures, prehensile long tongues, and sharp hearing.

Sounds and calls: Multatripodes typically make cow-like moos and grunts as their non-standardized language vocalizations. They can also make neighing and hissing sounds similar to horses and certain spiders respectively.

Locomotion: These creatures run and walk like horses on all fours, and can be quite quick on their hind legs too. They are surprisingly adept at climbing, swimming, and diving despite their build and size, and can be just as hard to evade in tree-filled or submerged environments as they are on clear landscapes.

Part 4-External and internal functions and coloring-

Pelt and skin colors: Long-snouted cows' bodies are mainly covered in short-ish fur and long hairs. They also have short manes on the back of their neck, and a trail of hair that goes from the base of their tails to the tip. The colors that can be found in this race as a whole are white, black, dark pinks, creams, grey, light yellows, greys, reds, browns, teals, dark greens, sea blues, and gold.

Body fluids, flesh and bone: The flesh of these creatures is ruby red, while the bones are pearl white. They have ruby-ish dark red blood, semi-transparent blue tears, saliva, and sweat, teal-ish yellow urine, poison, and mucus, and the rest of their fluids are pale red-ish light blue.

Part 5-Emotional behavior and mating-

Natural behavior and expressions: The multatripodes live in large herds of 25 to 76 and they normally split into two groups. One group stays in their main home territory, and the other wanders through their homelands foraging, hunting, and interacting with other creatures. They can be quite territorial and often attack non-sapient creatures that encroach on their space, especially if they have young calves around. Long-snouted cows display their emotions in ways that are usually easy to identify but will often try to conceal ones like fear or excitement. For example, happiness is shown through tail waging, smiling, and huffing, when angry they hiss, growl, claw the ground, and bear their teeth, and when they are sad they groan, cry, and droop their hairs and ears.

Mating and reproduction: When a single adult multatripodes is looking for a mate of their own, they will make a loud bellowing howl-like sound to attract a potential mate. Others of the opposite sex will start to approach the lonely caller, and they will interview one by one with their interest to see if their goals and personality be compatible with each other. If an interviewed pair determine each other to be the best fit for each other, then they will start the courting process. During this stage, the couple will try to hang out with each other as much as possible to bond and get to know each other. Dates of this species family really like to explore or hunt as activities to pass the time, they also like to spend time preserving food as well. Multatripodes will date for a year or 15 months, and if their relationship survives for that long they will make the choice of permanently mating or leaving each other and starting again. If they decide to marry, both parties will offer the other a gift related to the other's interests; though the gifts are usually gems or some type of red trinket. When a couple marries, they will press their foreheads together and rub their horns against each other as their instinctual ritual, but they may also hold a formal wedding ceremony to celebrate their union with loved ones. The newly mated couple will start copulating a few days after their union but will sometimes take a bit longer.
Males have long and semi-slim and retractable penises, while females have slim and long-ish cloacae. A bonded couple typically copulates for 10-17 minutes, but to impregnate the female they need to mate once a day for 5 consecutive days. If they do so, they will have to wait for 5 months before the female can bare the calve. Couples that do not want to raise calves can skip a day and avoid the pregnancy entirely.

Part 6-growth stages-

Babies and newborns: Baby multatripodes are quite strong and clever for their age, able to walk and somewhat forage on their own a few days after birth. Despite this adaptation, calves need to be fed, warmed, and protected by their parents due to their size and ignorance.

Toddlers and kids: At the age of 4 years, long-snouted cows become toddlers and gain more strength and awareness from that development. Toddlers actually start learning from their parents' behaviors and actions, often mimicking what they do or intently watching. They are still weak in comparison to most other creatures, and thus must remain protected and cared for by their parents.

Teenagers: 12-year-old calves become juvenile teenagers at that age, and their development makes them smarter and stronger than before. Teens are generally much more independent and physically capable, able to hunt medium-sized creatures with the herd and look after themselves to an extent. Though they are much better off than calves, teens still need to be looked after and learn from their parents since they still lack the intellect, maturity, and strength of an adult multatripodes.

Adults and elders: At 20 years old, a multatripodes becomes a fully developed and sexually mature adult. Adults can hunt on their own and look after themselves, normally leaving their parents' home to find or create their own living space. Grown many-horned bovines will also be able to reproduce and develop a slight urge to find a mate that is best for them. These creatures will become elderly at 75 years of age and normally live up to 100 years old.

Part 7-Known genuses and species-

Camanalu: The species from this genus are The Stary-Legged Camanalu and The Grape-ish Furred Multatripodes, and they are native to the region of chile. Their kind are often more aggressive and fearless than other genuses, and they differ from their peers by having longer torsos, necks, middle horns, and tails, shorter snouts, and more rounded backs. The natural colors they can have are black, grey, white, and dark pinks, and their natural possible patterns are speckles, splotches, and/or salt and peppering.

Kujeie: The species this group contains are The Sand-Pelted Kujeie and The Ivory Short-Haired Kujeie, and they can be found in the regions of arabia and all across the middle east. They typically are strong and reliable in nature, and they differ from other multatripodes by having more prominent muscles, shorter middle horns, manes, and necks, smaller ears, and much larger and longer horns. The natural colors of these species are light creams, dark greys, and pale yellows, and the only natural pattern from this genus is splotches.

Oxsehece: The species of this genus are The Flame-Furred Pearlescent Oxsehece, Semi-Tropical Sea Oxsehece, Tropical Crimson Forest Long-Snouted Cow, DarkStone Forest Oxsehece, Cream Smooth-Furred Long-Snouted Cow, and The Gold-Legged Oxsehece. They originate from china, japan, and vietnam, and are known for their commonly firey yet order-driven personalities. Oxseheces physically differ from others of their species family by having shorter tails, longer manes, fangs, and torso and limb fur, sharper hooves and horns, and longer snouts. The naturally found colors in the genus are light reds, reds, dark greys, creams, browns, light yellows, light teals, greens, dark maroons, rose pinks, gold, sea blues, and black, while their natural patterns include splotches, stockings, and/or swirls.

Usin: The species that are from this group are The Lesser Cream-Tipped Grey Usin, Greater Cream-Tipped Grey Usin, Smokey Silver-Roll Multatripodes, and The Green Head Ash Usin. Usin are native to japan and are spread across eastern asia, and they often have protective and curious personalities. Their kind varies from other multatripodes through their long-ish, larger and wider torsos, longer limbs and fur, forked middle horn, longer horns, much longer fangs and hooves, floppier ears, and larger nose and eyes. The colors that can naturally be seen in the collective genus are greys, silver, creams, red, gold, and deep greens, and their natural patterns include, socks, edges, ticking, banded stripes, splotches, and/or undersides.
