Description Watek is a very large continent, its environment is much like that of the highlands of columbia, covered in grasses mountainous areas, cacti and other odd plants

1 : Watek hellboar / Black hellboar
Diablotherium gigas
The Watek hellboar is part of the group known as the entelodonts. Hellboars are common in the western continents. In Watek the hellboar is the largest and most proficient predator. They are much like bears, as they go through different seasons eating different foods. They grow to almost 4 meters long and 700-950 kg. They have a very powerful bite force which is around 1,000 psi.

2 : Tugal - highland and lowland
Alcetherium watekiensis - A.w. terra and A.w. campestres
The tugal is part of the litoptern family which holds species such as macrauchenia. Their peculiar anatomy is unlike any mammal found on earth today. There are two types of tugal found in Watek, the highland and lowland. Highland tugals tend to have more hair and slightly lighter fur pigments compared to the lowland tugal. They grow to sizes of 3-3.5 meters long and 700-1000 kg.

3 : Highland wolf
Canis lupus watekiensis
The highland wolf is a common predator in the damp grasslands of watek. They hunt in packs of up to 20 and can take animals down which are much larger than they are, e.g : tugal. They grow to around 4-6 feet long and 20-80 kg.

4 : Bobcat
Lynx watekus
The bobcat is a rather small but proficient hunter. They hunt small animals such as rodents and small birds. Bobcats tend to be rarer in some parts of the continent due to competition from wolves and other predators. The cats reach sizes of 3-4 feet long and 8-20 kg.

5 : Bats
Chiroptera
Bats are extremely common and diverse in Watek. During to lack of competition from anurognathids, they are free to eat insects in abundance. Some species can grow very large and along with eating insects they also feed on and spread to seeds of plants such as agave. There are around 70 different species found all across Watek.

6 : Blackbuck and other deer

There is 16 different species of deer that are found in this region. They are extremely common but number are kept contained by predators.
The species shown above is a blackbuck. They are rather small and are extremely light footed, meaning they can reach speeds of up to 70 km/h. Their pelts are highly prized for their unique colour.

7 : Rabbits and hares
Leporidae
This group of rodents are fairly common and are one of the main food sources for most carnivores in the region along with deer. 12 species can be found on this continent alone. They don’t grow much larger than 7-8 kg.

8 : Musteloids - weasels

Musteloids are common but rarely seen in Watek. There is 6 species found here. They consist of skunks, stoats and badgers. The group as a whole are fairly aggressive towards attackers and will stand their ground when threatened.

9 : Silverback bushog
Pachydermatherium watekiensis
The silverback bushog is a mammal coming from the group “uintatheriidae”. It shares many traits with gobiatherium and other close relatives. They tend to stay in lowland areas with a water source close by. Large canines are used for fighting for mating rights and for foraging. The creature grows to sizes of 3.5 meters long and 700-900 kg.
