My favorite fancanon is Shadow hates her guts-- Because he was told she has enough power to be considered his equal, but she's a total coward and asshole to everyone and doesn't take herself seriously.

Also I didn't explain Overload!Kat literally just explodes, like a giant ka-boom of electricity all over the place, very energy consuming. Usually sleeps for like a couple days afterwards. Rarely used.
Gets sicc Lightning streaks coming out of her eyes tho. The longer the streak the more power she consumed.
