Description
F-4E-33-MC, 66-0346 assigned to the 563d TFS, 37th TFW based at George AFB and seen transient at Luke AFB in February 1986.
The 37th TFW had a mix of F-4G “Wild Weasel" SEAD (suppression of enemy air defense) aircraft along with F-4Es that accompanied the F-4Gs in a "Hunter-Killer" role.
It sure was neat being at Luke AFB in the 1980s when F-4s were a common sight on the transient ramp. Note the Nebraska Guard RF-4C in the background.
