as Mkali explained underwater life in the Backlands to the outlanders, another strange animal had come to the outlands.

"やあ、お兄ちゃん！" exclaimed a wolf in Japanese.

"huh? Mungu! 久しぶり！" replied Mchawi and Mkali in Japanese

"who's this wolf?" asked Scar.

"this is my cousin, Mungu. he's a wolf from Japan." explained Mchawi. "he speaks Swahili and Japanese".

"woah, cousin... you're friends with some Outlanders? どうやってばかな..." said Mungu.

"Poa!" said Kale. "he called us stupid in japanese! i love this canine!".

"yeah, because he's a wolf who was born in Japan." explained Mchawi. "he knows a lot about japanese things: Sushi, Tempura, Sukiyaki, japanese summer festivals and even Yōkai!"

"so, Mchawi. what do you need me for?" asked Mungu.

"you see, Mungu.. i'd like you to meet Scar"

"それで、あなたはスカーです... え？あなたは自分のようなライオンにとってそれほど悪くはありません." said Mungu in Japanese.

"あなたのようなオオカミにとっては2倍になります。" replied Scar in Japanese.

"what the? Scar, you can understand this wolf's japanese words?!" gasped Tishio.

"yeah, if i can speak in british english, so i can in Japanese." said Scar.

"yeah, i've spend so much time in Japan, i speak fluid in Japanese. said Mungu.

"okay, enough chit-chat! i have finish working on this spell to revive Zira." said Mchawi furiously

"sorry, Mchawi." said the Outlanders.

"is that a wolf?" said Kiume.

"yep, he even speaks in Japanese". said Mwepesi.

"Japanese? you mean that language in Japan?" asked Kiume.

"looks like it." replied Mwepesi.

"oh man, the more animals from other places in Africa and the whole world itself Mchawi gathers, the more in trouble we're in!" said Mzuri. "totally bogus!"

"but what should we do?" thought Nguvu.

"we have to find a way to take down this evil outlanders and their new allies." said Ajabu.

"you're right, Ajabu." said Kiume. "but we better leave now before we get spotted again."

"sir yes sir!" said Kiume's Lion Guard.

"we should probably tell Rafiki, Nefu, Makini and Wanyama about this weird thing Mungu said about something called "yo-kai"". said Kiume.

"you're right, let's go!" said Mzuri. "let's head back to Pride Rock.
