- Also known as Allicanto, Luminous desert sparrow or silver trapper.

- they are known for having feathers there light up in different day cycle. the yellow of its body lights up in the night while the grey of its feather gives up a glaring shine in bright sunlight. it is possible it uses its feathers light to lure prey and to getting away from predator.

- Alicanto hunts bugs at night. it uses its yellow luminescent feathers to lure bugs to its mouth. the light can be 'turned' off when it feel that it is in danger.

- they can be seen nearby metal mines in the desert where it steal smaller metal flake from the ground. many miner leave it be since they say it brings them luck and it also help lost miners back on track by following the luminescent bird.

- males build the nest with flakes of metal, silver or rare cases gold to woo a female. the more metal the male have around the nest the more willing is the female to mate with him. the metal nest is not used to the young. it is purely used to woo the female. the female prefer to nest hidden in the scrub without any metal around her.
