CHARACTERS OF THIS RACE:

TRIVIA:
- also known as Cigau

- they are not the biggest of the big cat on Anuvina but they are one of the few who can take down prey there is bigger than itself. they have been seen taken down young Drakes.

- Cheegow males have a thin mane while the female have only a small mane on top of the neck. both of them are the same size.

- their spots and stripes can be seen seen on different places on their body. they are best recognized by their saber teeth and muscular build.

- they live in small prides with one male, two to three females(all sisters normally) and their cubs.

- females are known to kill a new male together with the current male. they will only allow a new male into the pride if the current male cannot produce any offspring or is too weak to hunt with the females. when a male wants to be part of a pride with no or a weak male, the new male have to prove he can provide for the pride by offering a kill he have done. the bigger the kill the better chance he have to be allowed to be part of the pride. if there is a current male and he is not providing to the pride. the females of the pride will help killing him.

- it is extremely rare that a new male will kill the former male cubs since the old male would not be able to give the females new outspring if they wants to replace him. if a old male is killed in his pride. the female will seriously harm a new male who try to get into the pride with cubs. they will only allow him into the pride when he proves himself which is hard to do if he got inquired by hostile females. most males does not get near prides with cubs because of this.

- many sentient beings are terrified of the Cheegow since they are known to kill even things bigger than themselves. they do kill sentients being who go into the jungle alone from time to time.

- because they are a social animals, they have shown they can create a bond with sentient beings who they see part of their pride. this is not something there is normal so it is best to avoid getting near them since they are still top predators
