- also known as Dahut, Dairi, Darou, Daru, Darhut, Daú, Tamarou, Tamarro and Dahuot

- Males have longer horns than the females. they use them in mating combat and against smaller predators.

- they live all over the mountain ring which separate Backland from Himmerig and Wanderpil. they do not feel good in too warm climate so they are rarely seen down from the mountains. in really cold winters, they can be seen in each countries grassland areas due to the lack of food on the mountains.

- Dahu are incredible agile and only the best hunters can capture one. they have been seen run, walk and stand on near vertical places and it is clear so long it have a ridge to stand on, it will be standing on it. they have even be seen climbing trees if needed. some of the more braver/desperate ones have been seen jumping on top of larger predators to get away.

- they live in herds with around 5-15 animals, depending on food and season. it is rare to see a single Dahu and that normally only happen if it got lost, or is too weak/sick to follow the others. males and females only mix together in breeding period. rest of the time they are in gendered groups.

- males compete with each other by knocking their horns against each other. only the strongest males breed. females gives birth to 1-2 kids which stays with her for 18 months before they are mature enough to start their own family. males leave the herd they are born into and start their own male herds until breeding period.
