- they are born with one thick tail. its tail tip will split into a new 'tail tip' until it have reach maturity.
- it is not shown on the image but the Fan-tailed Hanja will turn grayish white in the winter period and the fur will turn back in early spring.
- it harsh winters the Fan-tailed Hanja uses its tails as extra insulation.
