Description
The Police Excommunicated Season 2 Episode 1 Night of the HowlingThe episode begins with the band sitting in their apartment, having a conversation about what they should do tonight. Sting suggests going to the town of Brooklyn to see some animals in a forest. Andy and Stewart say that it sounds like a good idea, and the band leave their apartment. Later, when Sting sees a group of bats, he runs off from Andy and Stewart. Not long after he encounters a werewolf who bites Sting on the arm. The werewolf later runs off to a hill and howls. Things soon begin to take a turn when Sting turns into a werewolf. After he's transformed, he soon encounters two thugs that are beating up a random car. Werewolf Sting then scares off the thugs by barking and growling at them. The thugs later run off. The next morning, Sting wakes up with blood on his mouth. This was a clear sign that he also might have bitten the thugs in his werewolf form. Later, the band go to a Zoltar-esque gypsy machine where Sting inserts a coin into the machine, to whom the gypsy reveals that Sting has become a werewolf. The gypsy then says that in order to rid Sting of the curse, he must kill the original werewolf, that is, the werewolf who bit him. Stewart Copeland suggests that he shoot a silver bullet into the werewolf. The gypsy also says that that night, Sting would attempt to kill his fellow band members. Later that night, Sting gets chained to the wall by Andy Summers. Sting then says, "Wouldn't it be nicer if you just chained up everyone except me?" To which both Stewart and Andy say no to that thing. Later, Sting falls asleep on the chains until the full moon shows up in the window. During that time, Sting begins to transform into a werewolf again, breaking the chains in the process. After transforming, Sting breaks open a window in the band's apartment. Andy starts walking down one of New York's streets. He continues walking and taking no notice as Werewolf Sting appears. Werewolf Sting then starts to growl and then begins howling. He then runs after Andy and Stewart. Stewart Copeland then attempts to restrain Werewolf Sting, who is then starting to bark and howl at him. Later, during the sunrise, Sting starts to transform back to his normal self. Later, the band set put to find the original werewolf, who is resting inside of a car dealership. Sting waits for the full moon to arrive because Stewart Copeland obviously forgot to bring silver bullets! Nevertheless, once the full moon arrives, he starts transforming and doesn't feel any pain from the transformation because he is becoming one on purpose to attack and kill the original werewolf. Werewolf Sting and the original werewolf get in a physical fight, scratching and biting. Werewolf Sting then begins to roar at the original werewolf, and eventually bites him really hard to the point where the original werewolf is killed. Sting then starts to transform back and the curse is rid of him. The episode ends with the band sharing a cup of hot cocoa at home.
