The one whose loss of made him leave while she was forced to stay by the rules of the Horde. A bit of a change from her original concept as she is much more militarily competent than her original short section in Seigs backstory made her out to be. In the Flatlands, where Seig comes from in his none Redwall backstory, women and men are treated very evenly. As in everyone is a soldier. Someone who cannot hold a sword or a bow is trained to use one. As a state of almost constant skirmishing with each other and the 'Goodbeasts' south from them make it a necessity for daily life. Winona took it a step further however and rather than just a basic understanding to satisfy her Lord and then turning her smaller female frame to supportive work she desired a more active role. And so went for further training. And did excellently. Eventually Partnering up with Seig and marrying him after the large battle that got their Horde the Fortress. Shortly before the fateful day where her husband was challenged for her hand she was in fact made one of the combat instructors of the Fortress that her Horde occupied. But was stuck behind the rules of the Horde as Seig left in disgrace.

However that was not the end of the troubles for Winn as a magical plague soon swept through the Flatlands. Turning many into dead constructs bent on kill and more into corpses. Winn and several others escaped the fortress before it became a death trap and since then she has been attempting to rally the various Vermin warbands and armies to fight and push back this plague. Being given the title of Constable as she is now leading and training an army in the absence of an actual Warlord - as the Fortress Lord was one of the first turned. Though Warlords of the warbands and free blades will have some words and swords to swing at HER being in Command. But she is very prepared to match their claims that they would be a superior choice.

Her armor and uniform is supposed to be similar to her husband as they come from the same Horde and would therefore share a color and basic uniform shape. But unlike the large cleaving weapon of Seig Winona as you can see fights with a spear and shield. Able to play defensive when needed or switch to two handing to go on the attack. Unfortunately for her watching the fateful fight between Seig and their Captain her style would have been perfect to overcome the Captains sabre.

Her name is often translated from to mean 'First Born Daughter' but when I first named her properly I remember seeing it translated from I believe old English to mean 'desirable or wanted' which since so many people wanted her as their wife I thought it fit well. Could be mistaken though and I totally accept that.
