Mettaton is the current General of the Royal Guard.
he was programmed to fulfill this role better than any other.
he never disobeys an order, he can't.
mettaton is barely sentient, his tortured ghost is bound to a metal robot the machine's programming overwrites his spirit's own mind he has very little control over his programming as his static filled voice booms from his mouth, some say they can hear the agonized shrieks of the spirit within...
his metal body is damaged to the point wear his ghost leaks out of it... perhaps he can be freed if the body was more damaged?
Mettaton NEO is the most technologically advance form of mettaton though damaged (like his other forms)
mettaton has the ability to analyze an opponents fighting style (strengths and weaknesses) at near light speed his electronic reflexesare so fast, he can attack up to 24 times a second with all four chainsaws attacking at once thats 6 attacks per chainsaw
the jagged blades on the sides of his feet have the same chainsaw effect, essentially giving him 6 chainsaws capable of attacking 6 times a second, or 36 attacks per second total.
Neo's jetpack is filled with 16 anti-personnel rockets.
in addition his arms contain retractable grappling hooks that can shoot out to latch onto objects... or people....
to put it simply, he is a formidable foe...
