Description Bit different but if you're familiar with the characters this should make sense. Instead of evolving or changing like the others so far, nexus was torn limb from limb by Megatronus when he betrayed the others. The others where able to transfer his life force into Cybertron itself which, among other things,  helped spark the birth of the Cybertronian race. In addition his spark became the basis for a mysterious artifact called the Enigma, which in conjunction with a genetic trait among certain cybertronians could enable the power of combination. The Enigma was lost to time and later attempts to recreate Combiner garnered mixed results, until a group of seemingly unrelated Transformers were drawn together and found it, at which point it merged them into the reincarnated Nexus prime.
Back when Nexus was introduced Hasbro didn't seem to care as much about names belonging to specific characters, but now days they put more importance on it so I was curious what would happen if he combined not from a group of redecoes but instead their more well known namesakes. Most of the faces are unchanged from their usual designs, with minor exception. Heatwave is vaguely merged with the original Shattered Glass character, and Landquake is a sort of medium between the two uses of the name (annoyingly both just redecoes). This Version of Nexus is what he looks like as the combined form of the five, I have a less yellow glowy version for before his "death". I experimented giving the component characters colours better fitting the combiner and maybe they do take on those colours when part of Nexus, but for now they have their normal colours. I would also prefer that they not be permanently combined, allow then to separate and combine when they choose as most combiners do, but the process and result being a much more spiritual and balanced endeavor.
