"Zim: GIR! Don't let me break anything else!(Glass and other debris laid all around Zim on the floor and there were hideous, jagged claw marks on virtually everything.
Zim had just had another episode and GIR was unfortunate enough to see it.
Even Zim's brainless servant could see that his master was losing the fight with whatever ailed him inside, and it was terrifying.
Still, he obeyed.)
GIR: Wanna try the restraints again?
Zim: No, I--
GIR: I LIKE THE RESTRAINTS!!!
Zim: FOCUS!!! The restraint table isn't enough to hold me, remember?
GIR: Oh yeaaah...you broke it in half!
Zim: Don't remind me....
(Zim sighed and hunched over, more depressed now than ever.
His glitching was getting more frequent with each passing day and he couldn't keep Dib away for much longer; he had to find a way to stop this.)
GIR: Are yeeew saaad?
Zim: Yeah, I am......GIR, I don't know what I'm going-ing-ing -- ah....
(He twitched and hunched over more, trembling.
It was about to happen again.)
Zim: N-N-NHHH!
GIR: Master! Yer gonna freak out again!
Zim: *gasping* Y-E-S!!! GIR, PLEASE do-onnn't let--
(GIR knew what he meant even though he couldn't finish his sentence.
Soon Zim was seizing and foaming all over again, his eyes and the doors of his PAK glowing a spooky bright green.
He yelled and uttered incomprehensible Irken, his hands stiffened and ready to tear something apart.
But he was getting wise; he fought against it with all his might, managing to stay in one place rather than whirl around the room destroying everything.
GIR screamed and clapped his hands around one of Zim's PAK legs, which had sprung out in the blink of an eye.
It was barely enough to hold it, but he managed until Zim's spastic glitching spree was over.
He watched as Zim collapsed on the floor and laid there panting, eyes wide and a destroyed look on his face.
At least they were red again.
GIR peered over him.)
GIR: Still don't wanna tell Dib...?
Zim: N-no............just help me clean this up...
GIR: okey dokey!"

Yeah, I'm actually going through it right now. The worst part are the nightmares. Not as bad as the "sphynx cat dream" I had about a week before I had my gallbladder removed but involve Pippin (my bearded dragon) not being dead and when I wake up I realize she is all over again. She died four months ago. When I have dreams about my dead dog, even in the dream I knew he was dead and was like, "Hey! You're dead!" and the dog always tells me he's a ghost. Other people don't seem to notice him. But in the dreams about Pippin, it's as if she were still alive and I don't realize it's just a dream until after I wake up. They aren't really nightmares since they don't bother me until after I wake up and realize they aren't real. My joints also get really stiff and achy or at least the sensation of wanting to crack them is intense. I've read that Ativan withdrawal can last for YEARS.

Does Dib ever get his dad to realize that Zim isn't just some foreign kid? (I was working on a comic series about a little girl who's military father sneaks an orphaned baby alien home from work and raises it along with his daughter. The daughter was very naïve and had Asperger's. She tells everyone her new little brother is from "somewhere very far away", implying he's from space. But EVERYONE just assumed she meant another country. Invader Zim was the inspiration for this comic along with this Canadian preschool cartoon called "Katie and Orbie" www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zHcOJ… (talk about lazy animating).

i'm afraid i don't have time to sit and watch, but oh MY it did look lazy XD and yes, since i support ZADR in my head cannon Dib reveals Zim's an alien (and Zim shows him) soon after he comes out to him.
And his dad is perfectly fine with his son's preference and is blown away by alien ZIM XD

Better than TLK 1 & 1/2 which is just like an extended Timon & Pumbaa episode. I'll admit there were a few good T&P episodes including one which reminds me of a Monty Python Flying Circus skit. But when I watch a Lion King movie, I want to see a Lion King movie. Timon and Pumbaa are "comic relief" characters but trying to make them be funny all the time just doesn't work. I once heard somewhere you can't have comedy without drama and you can't have drama without comedy. There was a TV show in the 70's that took place in a battlefield hospital in the middle of the Korean war and it was actually considered a comedy.
