Description I made these glass beads from molten glass that we use for blowing bottles at the workshop. Couldn't do it without my colleague - he brought the glass from the kiln on an iron stick, and I wrapped it on a stainless steel mandrel that I use for lampworking. It's crystal glass and it has very high shine, so different than the ordinary glass.

I also made wirewrapped beads, with the idea to make them voluminous but light.

This crystal glass made me think of North, ice and winter... so that's where the title came from - Skadi, the Norse goddess of winter [link]
