Now you bet she's putting all her teenage angst into that mic! She's rockin' the metal, piercings and braces!
Gotta be honest, I never really was all that decisive on Lin as a character, she flip-flopped between trying too hard to be a seductive adult to a genuine moody teen. I think I'm happy with that overall turn she's got, she's fun and hashtag-not-like-other-girls (that I draw). And seeing as the strongest relationships she's got in the comic, thus far at least, are her kid brother Jin (and his attempt to be a rapscallion with his pots and pans) and her infinitely patient mom, it felt fitting to include them in her portrait.

It was a small tour through the main characters of Avenue Refrain as I feel they are the ones I showed off the most in the last few years in my DA gallery. So, where to? Next week, some more colorful portraits where things are kept very small. Quite literally so.
