I honestly didn't have the confidence to turn this in. I love the franchise so much, and was so worried I would not do it justice. It took my boyfriend's barrage of support and tough love to actually get this done before the deadline.

The Idea I had going with this was while a family was out getting ready to go night fishing one of the training mechs deployed in the Gulf coast starts to leave the peer to go on patrol. Living on South Padre Island, the gulf coast rich in oil and a large leap from the Pacific Rim, I imagine instead of full size titans walking about here we would have multiple 'miniature' jaegers along the coast to keep the public calm and safely train Texas Rangers before deployment to the West Coast.

I am in love with the idea of an animated Pacific Rim series and wanted this to look like a screen shot from a non-existent pilot episode.
