I finally finished everything for my Apocalypse Kida cosplay! Some things were definitely rushed (The shoulder armor, the spear, and the necklace in particular) but overall I'm really happy with how it turned out! I had quite a few people stop me in the hallways to tell me how happy they were that I was cosplaying as Kida because she's one of Disney's "forgotten Princesses".
I was definitely cold, and my feet were aching by the end of the day, but it was all worth it in the end. We ended up winning "Best In Show" in the Tsukino Con 2015 cosplay contest for our "Last Melon" skit, so that was freaking amazing.
Overall my cosplay went over VERY WELL and despite myself being very....worried about wearing such little clothing, I became more comfortable as the day progressed and eventually had a lot of fun ^_^~
