Description i am everything you ever wanted,
but nothing you\'d ever have.

i am a lie.
do not believe a word i say.

i am a saint.
a sinner.
an atheist.

i am religion.

put your faith in me,
and i will let you down.

i am the beginning,
the origin.
the creation.

but i will bring the end.
and i will thrust it upon all of you.

i believe in nothing
but even nothing is something.

my all-time high
has hit an all-time low.
it has brought me up,
and i will drag you down.

i am entirely me,
but still a part of you.

i am far too simple to be complex.

i am everywhere but here.
anytime but now.
with anyone but myself.

i speak the truth,
but live a lie.

i\'m the first to admit my denial.
i drive myself crazy striving to be sane.
i am the pull that pushes you away.

i am a paradox.
an enigma.
an anomaly.

i am honestly a lie.
my truth speaks in tongues.
do you believe me?

i am a dream.
a hallucination.
a nightmare.

i succeed at failing.
but fail at everything.

i am all these things and so much less.

i do not exist.

Very nicly done! You could read this in many different ways, taking it in many different forms, yet it has a clear meaning and purpose.

interesting..
"my all-time high
has hit an all-time low.
it has brought me up,
and i will drag you down."

notice the "brought me up" and "i'll drag you down"
i'm trying to figure out how those are related.. its as if when you fall you drag others down with you..
its sutble things like that i think add to this piece.

I also think its interesting to analyze the progression of the poem it starts in paradox.. and deciet.
"i am a saint.
a sinner.
an atheist."

then it moves into a period of denying to exist or denying that time exists with yourself.. then you accept that you exist
"i am a dream.
a hallucination.
a nightmare."

but turn right around and accept that you are everything but nothing..
"i am all these things and so much less. ...i do not exist."
a paradox as the begining, you traveled in a circle.. i like the poem.. thank you.

nice 1, it comes across 2 me as though there are three monologues: u talking to the reader, religion talking to the reader, and a conversation between u and religion. i feel the same way about religion and im pretty sure ur gonna get heaps of ppl relating 2 this.

well, it's s tad bit difficult to keep up with some things....but the missing of this prose in my fav's could not go unnoticed. This is the best, but then again you knew that~smile~

Oooh, the "I do not exist." really adds to it. As I said before, this thing swirls. "Put your faith in me, and I will let you down." I'm like that.
