Here are my designs for Emerald’s parents: Peridot and Hunter! I named them that because it follows the traditional naming scheme of Team Green in The Great Ghoul Duel being various shades of green. Peridot is a type of green gemstone, like Jade and Emerald, while Hunter is a shade of green, like Sage, Kelly, Olive, and Moss. They grew up and live in Ireland, unlike Emerald herself, who grew up in the United States and lives in Doodleville, like the rest of the Google Doodle characters in the Faith’s Channel Canon. Peridot is a sweet mom who likes beauty, while Hunter is a brave dad who loves adventure.
