Rabbitsnatch was born to Juniperdust and Hollowwing of Thunderclan alongside his brother Streamfoot. He didn't have a very exciting kithood and became quite a skilled fighter as an apprentice, his brother picking up where he lacked in hunting.

He grew arrogant has he became a warrior. Rabbitsnatch thought he was the greatest warrior to ever grace thunderclan and he garnered the attention of many she-cats, but only one caught his eye. Ambersong. She was a beautiful orange she-cat. Over time, he garnered her affection and they became mates, but this did not last. He was never enough for her. She sought the attention of other toms as well and eventually became pregnant with another tom's kits. This broke Rabbitsnatch's heart as he always wanted to be a dad. This event sobered him up from his prior arrogance and made him swear to never fall in love again.

As he became a senior warrior he was given a very special apprentice, Lilypaw. He did not know it at the time, but she would later became leader of their clan. He adored her and treated her as a daughter, training her the best he could. He was so proud of her when she became leader and fought hard for her over the war.

During the war he lost everything, including his ability to be a warrior. He was forced to retire at the end of the war. He stayed at the lake with the lake cats, trying to help others heal, and when it came time for the second journey he joined the cats who were leaving. He decided to join Stormclan because being around Emberstar reminded him too much of the dear apprentice he lost and the mate that betrayed him.

Now Rabbitsnatch is incredibly grumpy. He is however, nice to well behaved apprentice and is always one to offer good advice and tell stories. The old tom has developed a knack for storytelling, whether they are true or fantasy. He has a soft spot for kits and queens, often going and checking on them. When he can't sleep in the middle of the night he carefully and quietly walks around camp, looking into dens to make sure all cats are safe and sound. He also loves to help the medicine cats, always wanting to feel like he's useful in his old age.
