In addition to the 48 characters mentioned, I included six more slots reserved for my original characters based off an ongoing original Light Novel titled "Fate of Life: The Choices Within" which may also serve as this game's title. I've been swapping characters in and out for the past few years, hoping to draw up the perfect roster.
Okay, maybe perfect isn't the accurate term, it's evident that there are characters present who hugely overpower the rest of the roster (ahem, Overlord and Fire Force). But the idea does not have to follow the status quo of real fighting games, it’s purely unconditional and for fun.
Examples are characters from slice-of-life anime (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid and Spy X Family), characters from actual fighting games (Variable Geo and Under Night In-Birth), characters solely from manhwa (Solo Leveling) and even characters from more recent anime (Mashle).
Whether your character is from anime, manga, manhwa, video game or even another form of media, as long as they have a fighting ability or spirit, they fit the bill. If you’ve read up to this point, let me know in the comments if there are any characters in mind that aren’t present here, I’m sure they’ll fit right in!
