I know that Ash isn't the main character anymore, now that he is gone from the series and replaced by a female character, but one thing that annoyed about Best Wishes is that Ash never evolved his Pignite into Emboar since they were setting up Tepig to be the ace of his team in Unova but sadly was replaced by Krookodile (which don't get me wrong, he is still a good boi) and was put to the wasteside, which was one of the problems I had with the series and why I felt some parts of it were rushed and could've been developed a bit better.
