DON'T LOOK UNLESS YOU'VE GIVEN UP!All the answers to that meme I filled out
9 of them were guessed quickly enough by various people, but that #1 has seems to be giving people a lot of trouble XD
#1 Mendoza!
Mysterious Cities of Gold (Les Mystérieuses Cités d'Or) is one of the most well-known and beloved anime from the time of my childhood (the eighties!), at least in France and Quebec. I remember it aired repeatedly, year after year, on french CBC. Mendoza was a badass. A navigator, fencer, marksman, schemer, he was the cool adult that accompanied the trio of protagonistic children. His cosntantly-billowing cape was almost a character in itself as well.
#2 Squall!
I liked FF8 a lot! And its protagonist, too. Sure, Squall is a socially awkward emo whiner, but he kicks ass throughout the game, and eventually becomes a worthwhile leader as well. Not to mention he looks cool and has an awesome weapon.
Oh, and we also share the same favourite one-liner...
"Whatever."
#3 Rincewind!
A wizard (or Wizzard) who can't do any magic, and so has to rely on constantly running away to survive all the ridiculous and dangerous situations he is always thrown into. What's not to love? I just love Discworld in general, but I originally discovered it with Rincewind's adventures (which are the first published, after all) so I remember them fondly. The guy just wants to lead a boring life, leave him alone!
#4 Data!
Aw, come on, do I even need a reason?
#5 Rodimus!
Aside from being the hero of the Transformers movie and single-handedly defeating the planet-eater Unicron, Hot Rod also looks cool. And I had his toy when I was a kid. He's like a younger, hipper Optimus Prime with a mouth.
#6 Marle!
Say what you like about Marle, but she's the one who set everything in motion in Chrono Trigger! Okay, at first it was just by accidentally getting caught in a time paradox, but them she's the one who convinced the other protagonists they should (and could!) take on the Big Bad. Besides, she is spunky, cute, the most powerful healer and while she can't hurt monsters at all, she can cast Haste! I like Haste.
#7 Yoko!
Long before I ever saw a single scene from Gurren Lagann, I used to see TONS of really GOOD fanart of her. And, how can I say this?... she's hot. But she's also awesome in the series. She takes on all those giant robots with just her rifle! While all the men rely on their own giant robots. She also manages to be the voice of reason to those hot-heads on more than one occasion, despite not being so level-tempered herself.
#8 Hexadecimal!
But the REAL Hex, the one from the beginning of the series. The unbridled, unbalanced, unpredictable, unparalleled force of chaos with transifinite power limits. Just as likely to kiss you as to kill you! (Well, Bob, at least)
#9 Yorda!
Yorda is kind of quiet. And when she does talk, it's in a weird moon language. And you CONSTANTLY have to save her from pitfalls and shadow creatures. But face it, you can't play Ico without loving her. If you don't love her, you DIE. Besides, she comes through for you in the very end.
#10 Jigglypuff!
That little puffball. In the first season of the anime, he sneaks up behind pikachu and kicks the little rodent in the head, then looks all innocent and pikachu is left wondering what happened. That moment did it for me. Jigglypuff is forever my favourite. All those times he sings and gets angry and draws on people's faces after they fall asleep only add to my appreciation.
And that song is super-cute!

I already love your art style and your comic. Data's presence on this list - with no explanation necessary, of course - just made me an even bigger fan.
