I meant to get this done so much sooner than now, but I ran into so many problems with my new computer and then college started up again. I was originally only doing one form, but went with two because I couldn't choose between which one I liked the best.

For the contest Cachomon is hosting! c: You better believe that if I had a chance to make a form for a Pokemon it would be my very favorite one heh. Smaller ones are the shiny forms

New Pokemon Species: Darkrai Alolan Forms
Type: Dark/Ghost
Ability:
Bad Dreams (Lunar Eclipse)- Sleeping Pokemon take 1/8 damage of full health at the end of every turn.
Nocturnal (Solar Eclipse)- Special Attack stat increases during times when it is dark out or in a cavern/underground
Pokedex Entry:
Lunar Eclipse- Darkrai thrives heavily on the phases of the moon--ending up being much more active when the moon is full unlike its original form. The large blade like growths from its shoulders give off a luminous glow n the night and its sharp claws are used to cut through thick plants or to injure attackers.
Solar Eclipse- Darkrai becomes more active during the day, thriving off the energy of the sunlight and is unable to inflict nightmares upon those sleeping around it as a defense--instead it uses gathered energy within it's body from the sunlight to render itself "invisible." Due to the heavy exposure to solar energy Darkrai's body shifts into a ghostly white, retaining some parts of it's black body. This form prefers to move via its legs rather than float around, but will float when needing to quickly flee.
Evolution Line: N/A Darkrai does not evolve, but does Transform when moved from one region to another. If an egg is produced--which is heavily rare--the offspring will be born in the form of the region.
Habitat: Darkrai cannot be found within the Alolan Region and must be brought into the region from Sinnoh.
Why the Change:
Lunar Eclipse: When entering the Alolan Region Darkrai reacts to the lunar energy within the region to transform into what is called it's Lunar Eclipse form.
Solar Eclipse: Reacting to the solar energy within the Alolan region, Darkrai transforms into its Solar Eclipse form.
