I closed my eyes and praised the Gods and Goddesses to save me.
Opening my eyes, I believed rather than blessed, I was cursed by the gods as I saw, Verglas standing there.
Looking at me with her dark pale icy blue eyes.
I tried to grim my sword but my body was too frozen to pick it up properly.
Preparing for death I closed my eyes only to feel warmth again.
The dragon wrapped her heated scales to my core and to my shock I realized she was pregnant.
This was the reason she was attacking the villages.
She needed more food to feed herself.
I realized Verglas was not evil or malicious but a reckless dragon seeking to birth her young safely.
She helped me find my party.
