I dunno, it wasn't thaaaat bad, but then again I'm in the minority that also doesn't mind Thor The Dark World either. The oddest thing about this film, for me, was Chris Hemsworth's face....I know how that sounds but just take a look in comparison to his other films and his look in general...something is weird about his face and I've never been able to figure it out, but it just bugs every time I see clips from Thor, it's just really odd LOL 🤷🏾♂️

But yeah I feel u about the "done that" vibe of the first two Thors. I read online that apparently he wasn't very popular comics-wise in recent years and that the movies (both Avengers and Thors) actually turned that character around. Also, at least they gave us LOKI

Yeah looking back at it... how did they think that was a good idea? It gives Rogue One's Tarkin a run for its money in the "uncanny valley" feeling.
To be fair, the Avengers in general weren't too popular and look how far that's come. As for Thor, he's probably gone from my least favourite to one of my most, only because his character has been fleshed out and he isn't so serious. Ragnarok really was a great example of what potential the character has and I'm looking forward to them developing it further in "Love and Thunder".

Omg yeah absolutely, "Ragnarok" was the lifeline the character needed. A friend of mine hated it bcos he felt like there were too many jokes that undermined the serious aspects but I really enjoyed it bcos of the versatility it showed with Thor. "Ragnarok" really gave him that much needed boost with fans, that and that iconic moment arriving in Infinity War (Bring me Thanos!).
I've always liked Thor regardless, mainly due to his awesome powers (you can probably guess who's my fav X-Man 😁) but Ragnarok and IW made me really, really love him. I hope they do him justice in "Love and Thunder" and don't sideline him too much. I was surprised to hear he's in it bcos isn't Jane gonna be the new Thor? Do they just mean she'll wield Mjolnir and have the powers or will she have the actual name? Will he just be there with Stormbreaker?

Yeah Jane was incredibly dull and they had no chemistry as a couple. Like it'd be odd to have Iron Man without Pepper in a couple scenes or even seeing Peggy again with Cap after so many movies was great...but not having Jane around Thor for AOU, Ragnarok, IW and Endgame was actually fine by me.
Plus I read somewhere a while back that Natalie Portman dissed Marvel and didn't want to return to the role (hence why they broke up in AOU) so I was surprised to see that not only is she back but also in the titular role?

Facts. Jane was like dry toast lol. But Valkyrie really impressed me bcos I'd seen the actress in other roles that were nowhere near as badass so I was skeptical of whether she could pull it off or not. Suffice to say I was set straight
