Second guessing, turning backs, and tripping over lies
Are the true break up tools tearing up all our tries
Its recess time, pick some roses, drink some wine
When I come back tomorrow, we’ll be just fine

Trees are shifting, losing feathers, baby I can’t fly
Please lift me back up for just one last try
And I will soar above you like an angel in your skies
Starting over, erasing lies, replacing hellos with goodbyes
This could be the best sequel ever written in our lives
