Wanted to try something rather gruesome with the concept of the game. I went for the manticore design Kory Bing, mind behind Skin Deep, came up with.

Title: the Beheader

Previous Name: Benny the Lion

Bio: He was meant to be a side character in a tv show, but his character was scrapped when he was replaced with a more monster-y puppet. He was sent to Denson's workshop where he did whatever his black magic happened to be. It was right before the studio was closed down where, in a fit of rage, Denson ripped the head off the cheaply made lion puppet. After being left to rot for years, the low quality of the dye used on him faded and changed color. One day, a human came by, and this headless monstrosity was the first to respond, ripping the head off the intruder in the same fashion that Denson did to him. He needed a head, and thought that maybe the one he just aquired would do. But after having it on his own neck for about a day, the blood further staining the furry cloth that made him up, it didn't feel like it belonged. He realized some things needed to be fixed. And so, every element that would cause the head to rot was removed; brain, blood, teeth, eyes, gums and tongue. He replaced all these elements with materials more suitable for him; i.e. cotton, felt, plastic, metal, etc. He left the skin on, painting it with various vile chemicals he found in the abandoned studio. He sewed it back on, and it became his.

Extras: The head is 100% his; he can see, talk, and feel with it. He's the one that shoved all those spikes into his own tail. The eyes he gave himself hardly were eyes at all, and thus he can't see very well. He relies on his other senses to navigate, but they're limited human senses, so it doesn't work out terribly well. His method of attack is to appear in a hallway, and will come attack you when you shine your light at him, since he can't entirely see where you are on his own. When he comes upon you, his animation is of him grabbing your neck and pulling up violently. He is full of maggots and stinks to high heaven. The head holds his senses, but not his conciousness; that's the job for the chest region. When he's headless, you can technically kill him by shooting out big holes in his chest.
