Description             I grunted sleeply as I forced myself out of bed  after my alarm clock abruptly woke me up. 5:30 in the morning was oo early for me to be awake. I Sighed and rubbed my eyes as I staggered half-asleep down the hall to the dimmly lite kitchen. I stumbbled over to the and pulled out some random flavored poptart, then I stood as still as possible. I listened carefully, trying to hear if my moms tv was on. Everything was silent except for the slight sound of the heavly blowing wind outside the house. No the tv wasn't on, she was probley still asleep. Of cource I was the only one awake. My dad probley left for work already, and my mom doesn't need to get up till 9.
I finnished my breakfast and walked up stairs, back to my room to get ready for school. I pulled on some tee-shirt and a pair of jeans and stalked to the bathroom. I yawned as I took a glance at myself in the mirror. My dyed, jet black hair was a taggled into messy clumps and my light green-gray eyes were acompanied by dark rings circling around them from lack of sleep.  I look horrible." I mummbled to myself, trying to get my vocal cords working before i comfront anyone.
I finnished getting ready, then quickly went down stares. It was alreayd 6:15, and I was going to be late if I didn't leave soon. I dashed out into the living room. To my surprise my mom was sitting on the couch, with this blank stare across her face as she stared at our TV that was blaring something about the weather and clear calm skys today.  "mom?" I said abit starttled. She was never awake this early. My mom stared at the ground for a few more seconds before looking up at me. "oh, good morning Aimee.." I guess i made some worried expression because then my moms face formed ino a confused look. "Whats wrong..?" she asked, her voice hushed. I shoke my head. "Nothing." I looked down at my watch "I Gotta go." I said, scooping up my backpack and walking out the door. "I love you." I heard my mom lightly called as I left the house and ventured into the brisk morning air.
I slowed my pace to a steady walk after jogging alittle ways. The street was quiet with the exsecption of the hollowing wind. As I walked I listened to the music of the wind traveling through the diffrent branches and hollows of trees causing the leaves to dance across the ground. As I though about it, it's been quite windy lately. Didn't the TV say today was going to be calm skys? Well the weather is alway unperdictable. I thought trying to get rid of any idea of someting being wrong. I quicken up my pace hand hurried to school.
