Talc is a somewhat reserved fellow. Having moved to the Hive much later in life after the collapse of his original warren, he now seemingly only focuses on his job as Hive security. He doesn't speak much on his past, in fact he doesn't speak much at all, but that's not because he doesn't care. He cares deeply for the welfare of Ankuri citizens, and while he's cautious of outsiders he's more likely than most Ankuri to lend them a helping paw if he sees them struggling (especially the littlest ones). Since the majority of guard duty involves standing around and observing others, he's developed into quite an introspective person. But he is so very tired of living in warrens, constantly losing sleep over the worry of a mutant incursion has left him weary of life underground. The arrival of the other members of curiokind in the sector has caused him to reconsider a life elsewhere...after all, he hasn't any family left who might miss him if he left.

As an M2 he is able to detect nearby dangers others might not (a knife hidden behind someone's back, for example) - he uses this ability to his advantage very effectively in his line of work.
