+ OFFICIALLY APPROVED BY STEPHENIE MEYER +I FINALLY got my copy of Eclipse this evening, which made me dance around crazily for a whole five minutes before I actually started reading it XP The perfect end to a long day
So. This was created due to mass amounts of Twilight/New Moon fan videos and hype on youtube and DA, and a very obssessive imagination. The theme for the image was once again around the decision Bella has to make in book 3 between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob. Poses were taken once again from my Ayashi no Ceres artbook (long live Yuu Watase!), the awesome moon image was taken from the internet as a reference for another New Moon image I was working on a few days ago that I may eventually upload, and Bella is deliberately wearing red and black to symbolise the ribbon on the front cover.
Gah, more symbolism. You can tell I'm a Media Studies student can't you? XP
PS: Oh yeah. I know that Jacob is over 6 foot, that's not something you can really forget in the books, but this was how Yuuhei from the image was positioned, and he's also a tall character. So please just imagine him kneeling on his knees by Bella's feet (more symbolism?). Or on a box. Whichever you prefer

It's not like she would have been able to fit it into Eclipse - the whole wedding/vampirification thing deserves a whole book to give it justice and to allow Stephenie to explore all the other facets she is likely to add 
Hopefully the wait will pass by quicker this time

His hair is meant to be bronze, which is a reddish brown, so techinically this is pretty far from where it should be ^^' But I'm glad you like it

I think quite a few people wouldn't mind being in Bella's place just for the whole two handsome men fighting over her thing, but wouldn't want to be her for the decision. But as much as I like Jacob, I love Edward more

Awesome! I haven't read Eclipse yet (sniff) but my friend told me about it! I'm torn, Edward or Jacob? The pain. At first I have to think Edward but then I feel sorry for Jacob. (sigh) GREAT PIC!

Yes, that's a tough one. Both Edward and Jacob have been in the series since book 1, so it's not fair to judge one over the other, but since Bella is 'irrevocably' in love with Edward, he's sure to win. But Jacob does stand a very good chance against him

truly amazing work! Omg I love the books so much *___*. I really like the poses, somehow they match completely with their story. And Edward looks so like....Edward. I had imagined him with a hairtone a bit darker, not so orange, but it still looks cool on him

Yeah, Edward's hair was an issue in this image, but I got it more the right colour in my last deviation of their wedding [link] . Lots of people have said it looks like him - I'm glad he's looks so cool

I read it twice. And I think I'm going to read all three of the books again with my real sister since she just now started reading Twilight. She's a newbie at the Stephenie Meyer books. :3

I really liked it lol it's such a good book! I think it is the best one too lol but I don't really have a favorite.
She is such a great artist I love how unique her art is! ^^ I think of her as the greatest Shojo artist lol cause I noticed that every other shojo looks a lot like hers! xD

I LOVE IT! I ADORE IT!!! And I think Jake's hair is Black nd up to his chin ^w^. I love it how Edward is simply carressing her and holding her hand while Jake is holding on and tugging at her shirt. It symbolizes the relationship of the three. I love it DRAW JAKE And I will BE SUPER HAPPY! lol and do an art swap when the time comes of me having a scanner . I love the full moon too.

Yeah, I drew Jacob too short (that's how it was in the reference!) and I drew this before I got my copy of Eclipse, so as far as I knew at the time his hair was still cool and spikey. But I have practiced drawing him a couple of times with the awesome new do
