As the thunder rolls I close my eyes.
I have no one to hold the moment I die.
The rain will pour and I will sleep.
My spirit's tore and I have fallen too deep.

My body is cold and I am out of place.
I'm sleeping beauty with colors drained from my face.
My lips are as blue as towering waves.

Lying frozen the rest of the night.
The storm subsides and out comes the light.
The morning rays fulfill my room.
I'm like a broken instrument out of tune.

Some say I suffocated by dark moonlight.
Or the 'cause of death was the threatening night.
But the storm brewed up my fear.
I was murdered by the girl in the mirror.
