This blindfold over my eyes is for all the dreams I'll never get to see.
This candle that I'm burning is for all the blood I bleed.

This hole in my wall is for all the times I was angry and upset.
This journal I burn is for the past, the past that I want to forget.
This tear from my eye is for all the hope I know I've truly lost.
This price that I pay is for all the mistakes I made and paid a cost.

This puncture is for all the songs I played many times on repeat.
This painting is for all the projects I started, but never bothered to complete.
This stab in my side is for all those times I should have been dead.
This wish is for the fact that I wanted to be taken instead.

This rope is for all the times I've tried to put myself to the test.
This rose is for my side, in which I'll be at a peaceful rest.
This last breath is for all the things I know I've taken for granted.
This death is for this life because I never could understand it.
