Description
When all I have is lost in fire and tears stream down my face,
I'll lie down and close my eyes pretending not to be awake.
And when all I have has burned to ash, I'll place it in a grave;
comfort in always knowing that it's only six feet away.

Trying so hard to move on, but tears still stream when it's late.
Striving to take those steps, so close to walking away.
So close to forgetting, but always feeling incomplete..
In the end it's hopeless, it's not so easy to defeat.

Blood red skies on Thursdays when November brings cold rain,
the atmosphere is anything but comfortable; it's pain.
When I realize the sky is falling upon me, I'll stand in disbelief.
Because all I've had has disappeared and there's nothing left to achieve.

As the stars become black holes and swallow my whole life,
I'll reflect on everything I was when I was most alive.
And when that final closure of blackness falls upon my eyes,
I'll realize just how worthless it's been to try and survive.
