Description Gah, it's huge! Nature should never have produced a picture this huge! This picture is so huge it could be in a horror movie! Oh, and the snake too.

This is the forest worm-tailed python (vermicaudophis venator), a 4 meter (13 foot) long python inhabiting the forest floor in future African rainforests. It is a member of a genus of pythons (vermicaudophis sp.) distinguished by thick bodies but much thinner tails, which resemble in coloring and shape small creatures, in this case an earthworm. The snake hides itself under the leaf litter and wiggles its tail whenever a prey item (such as a terrestrial bird or mammal) approaches, then strikes and kills it with a bite or constriction.

EDIT: A more centered image without the bottom being cut off.
