Description
An old drawing of Sayuri Sakamoto, and the first with her modern design. Though I think I made her look a little taller here than she should be. She's supposed to be a tiny five foot nothin'. Granted, I always struggle with consistency in general. Anyway, this redesign was meant to give Sayuri a "default" look, that modernizes her a bit but also takes her back to her ninja roots without being a derivative fancharacter as she was originally conceived (but gradually moved away from over time). Lots of elements from over the years were combined and to this day, I do still really like this look for her.
