But if I were designing a utility robot with six appendages, I'd give it four designed for walking and running upon, for stability and mobility. They might have a reserve capability for coarse-grain grasping. The other two would be specialized for fine-grain manipulation. It would definitely have two eyes; it's not just for decoration that we have two eyes.
