Finally the William reveal! Slenderman as William (who would go by Simon in this AU as that is the human name I keep seeing for Slender).
Lore time: I think most can guess what happened here. Surprise, surprise, the murder cyborgs he created turned on him. All of them ganged up on him and once he was caught they worked together to turn him into a (less functional) cyborg like them and left him locked in a room to rot.
