Description Was munching on some candy corn and broke into the bag of bugles (corn like snacky things for those who dont know what they are) and came up with a humorous idea -since its the halloween month I thought it appropriate as well. Not back into the full swing of things yet- I was bored with resting -but this made me smile and I hope it does the same for you!

And always remember- BE YOURSELF! If people dont love you for who you are then you dont need those people in your life!



( I would say that no candy corns or bugles were harmed in the making of this but.....umm....well, lets just say the corns were yummy and the bugle was given a proper burial )

how did you do this?? is so profeessional lokoign plus I love the concept!!! OMG!!! di dyou do a especifiic lighting?? what cmera did you use?? could you tell me teh type of thing s you have to do wiht your camera to make it comeout looking like this?? Plus how id dyou get such a clean looking background??

Thank you - happy you like it. The background was just white paper (kinda a shiny gloss paper from craft store) and the lights were basic construction lights I bought at the hardware store. I used my Nikon D70 and metered on the candy and took a bunch of photos until one came out good enough

Okay thank you so much!!! youve been very helpful I really want to get into photography! but how is it that you hugn the glossy papper up?? and did you also use glossy papper on the bottom, under the candy corn?? what does "metered on the candy" mean?? do you mean you centered it on the candy?? sorry for so many questions I just want to take good pictures like you

I just leaned the paper up against the wall and kinda gently bent it around so the candy corn could sit on top of it. When I focused on the subject I did so directly on one of the candies so the light meter in the camera would read off of it and not the white background. There are a lot of good articles on deviantART that can help you learn. Good luck
