I had no bloody idea how to name this one, so I named it "Hermione".. If anyone has an idea what to name it, let me know!

The title is good as is. Β This is not a work in need of any introduction or notation; it names itself and stands firmly upon its own strength.
Your attention to detail is often impressive, Helene, this portrait is a bright example of why that is true.Β Your luv of hair is wondrously displayed here Β 
Interesting is that the close proximity makes for an intimate portrait ... and yet she is oblivious to our presence being immersed in her thoughts.
It's an exceptional work. Β I believe Emma would like it as it portrays her craft with a passionate realism.

Any tips with hair will be appreciated. I try to create it in a volume and can never imagine to get details the way you have got. Its looking damn good.Β
Also can you include the tools used ... I see a list but please explain their roles particularly for hairs.

Well, I kinda just do the hair, I don't think about what I'm doing, I'm just enjoying it a lot (drawing hair is my favorite part). But I try to describe what I do. First of all, I sketch hair with 5H pencil (since it's the lightest pencil). Then I just start drawing hair the way it is on the reference photo with my 0,3mm mechanical pencil and for the darker parts I use 0,5mm. Next I use blending stick to smooth everything. Next I add more hair with my mechanical pencils and lastly I do the lightest hair strands with an eraser and white gel pen. That's it
Β It's quite simple when you get a hang of this. I hope it helps you a bit

Generally I do large size sketch or painting (50X70 cms) which takes more time. And moreover rather than focusing on one art type I am trying to work with different kind of medium and technique for each of my work. I guess I should stick to one form till I master it the way I see you have mastered drawings.
Will post more of my paintings within a day or. Do put your suggestions/comments. But yes, once I complete my current oil painting I will switch again to pencil drawing till I get good at it.
