Thank you! I appreciate your comment. The seagull pic will always be my favorite! I got this by feeding the birds with one hand while holding my camera with the other. I took several shots but this one was by far the best. The bird looked directly at the camera wondering whether it was better food than the stuff in my other hand.

You are so right! I have several (dozens) of shots of seagulls and I have to constrain myself from laughter as they fly up to me (I lure them to me with bread and cookies!). (If the truth be known...they are probably restraining themselves from laughing at me!) Thanks for your comments!

Ok, here's what I think happened.....
You where walkin' down the road and saw a ledge with a bunch of seagulls sitting on it. So you decide you want to take a picture of the flock sittin' on the ground. You kreep up slowly and quietly. You bend down to take the picture and decide you want to get closer. You get on your hands and knees and crawl towards them. You raise the camra to your eye, then "BBBAAAAAA!!!" The fog horn goes off and the flock flies up and one flies right into your face just as you take the picture!
But seriously, it's an awesome shot!

I was actually on a balcony of a cruise ship...I had a chocolate chip cookie in my hand and was feeding the seagulls with one hand while snapping pictures with the other. The birds were having so much fun that they kept coming back for more and formed a flight pattern that would rival JFK on a Friday night! Thanks for responding to the pic...its fun sharing!
