Once again, I was surfing around dA and I couldn't find a stamp supporting Italian wolves! Seriously, they're one of my favorite kind of wolf! They seem to be...underrated.

Ugh, I'm taking a break on my latest project. My hands are cramping...

Italian Wolf - Canis lupus italicus
Location: Found in Italy's Apennine Mountains, some parts of Switzerland and southern France (one wolf was even spotted in Spain!)
Height: 20" - 27"
Weight: 55 - 77 lbs
Length: 3.5 - 5 ft
Diet: Chamois, red deer, boar, roe deer, and small mammals
Color: Typically gray and brown, occasionally black
Conservation Status: Protected, but growing in their ranges. Italy has between 600 to 700 wolves, while there are 100 in France, and an unknown number in Switzerland.
